• AutoCAD is the full version of CAD software from AutoDesk. It is well known traditional CAD software for the production of 2D drawings and some 3D modelling in many disciplines. Whilst the look and feel of the software has changed incrementally over the years, it is still much the same to use and will be familliar to those who were taught AutoCAD many years ago.

• It has an established following and buying AutoCAD can be regarded as a safe option. It is especially popular amoung those who already know how to 'drive' the software or who are employing experienced AutoCAD trained operators.
