AutoCAD® LT provides a complete set of 2D tools for creating accurate professonal drawings in DWG format. It is a cut-down version of the full AutoCAD software without 3D, LiSP, ARX or VBA programming language support. AutoCAD LT also has a slightly reduced set of commands compared with full AutoCAD It has excellent data table handling features and file security features including digital signatures for your drawings. Network licensing is not available in AutoCAD LT. Licenses must be purchased individually. Note too, the sheet set management tools, presentation graphics and CAD standards available in the full version are also not incorporated in the LT version. HIGHLIGHTS AutoCAD LT is the entry level professional precision CAD software from AutoDesk. Well known traditional software for the production of 2D drawings in many disciplines, especially engineering. Whilst the look and feel of the software has changed incrementally over the years, it is still much the same to use and will be familliar to those who were taught AutoCAD in the past. AutoCAD LT has an large established following and is a safe purchase for those who are employing AutoCAD trained staff. Whilst the minimum specs noted below will run the software, AutoCAD is very memory intensive so be sure to have your computer well spec'd to suit. Plenty of RAM and a good graphics card is always an advantage. AutoCAD LT will support DWG and DXF files from v12 through to the latest 2007/8.
